The twin curves of actistic and acacemic dissastisfaction intersected with various other crucial life decisions early in 1986. By year's end Coquina Arts was in the process of becoming, and acaemia was well on its way to the place where unpleasant memories go. During the next decade, a willingness to experiment combined with good fortune and an inclusive approach to subject matter to produce a style which is characterized by non-traditional materials and spiritually-based symbols and compositions. The process is ongoing.
